I am delighted to say that my gym session went well today. I have headed advice and went on the cross trainer for 30 minutes of interval training, which I got through with a surprising ease and NO pain in my shins! Now my aim will be to increase resistance, speed and distance on this machine for the next month to ensure my leg is properly healed. In a months time I will have a session running back on the treadmil with adequate leg support and if the pain doesn't return I will attempt my next outdoor run!
I spent a lot of time on the leg lift machine today too, to stengthen my leg muscles.
I am once again, motivated and inspired.... Injury will NOT defeat me!
