Oh wow I have just got back from a Killer gym session! Unfortunately the weather meant i wasn't able to go yesterday but I just had to get there today and keep up the training. I'd been hoping to do an outdoor run this week but that most definately isn't going to happen in all this snow!
Well I believe I may have broken the pain barrier in todays session! I increased my incline speed, running speed and ploughed on through with the interval training. When I got to my 2nd to last run my ears started popping and I felt light headed, then on the last run I had pains going through my chest.. like stabbing pains in my lungs, sweat was pouring off me and I did think I might actually collapse but I kept going and got through to the end of the session, then went onto to the weights and seemed to find inner incredible hulk strength - despite the pain and dizzyness and blurred vision! I didn't turn green though, still very much wearing the tomato skin! It really isn't a pretty picture and I dread to think what kind of coughing, spluttering and panting noises I must make! Thank goodness my headphones drown it out in my own ears at least!
Notes: Increased running speed on treadmill to 11.4 km/h running, and 7km/h uphill speed. Increased Chest and shoulder press weights by 2.5kg. (up to 27.5kg 2x20 reps)
