Training Day 25 - 04.01.10

Back at the Gym today, I normally rest in between running days but i need to get in as much training as possible.  Once again I did interval training but this time i increased my speed on flat runs to 11km/h and my speed on the hill walking to 6.5km/h (on an incline of 4). I got through the 30 mintues easily but the clubs treadmill will only allow a maximum of 30 minutes on the interval trainging so instead of increasing time I'm going to stick to the 30 mintues for the next few weeks but work on increasing the speed on both flat and incline so that I can build enough strength to run up hill. Im guessing this will increase my stamina on flat ground during outdoor runs.

Because I didn't include my warm up and warm down in my Nike+Ipod records, my distance covered was 3.41 miles but my average speed increased to 8'57" per mile (although i still have no idea what that is in miles per hour!).

Ive had some amazing emails and letters of support reaching my inbox today and have been brought to tears by some of them. Thank you for those of you who wrote to me with your heartfelt stories and truly encouraging and inspirational words xx
