Training Day 30 - 19.1.10
Despite still being incredibly achy from Sundays outdoor run, I got myself back to the gym for some further interval training today and increased the time to 40 minutes and the distance to 4.3 miles. On the first speed run I didn't think I was going to be able to go any further, every ounce of me ached but I pushed on and managed to get through the full 40 minutes, even doing some uphill jogging rather than walking towards the end of the session. At one point my chest was hurting and I wanted to stop but refused to allow myself to. It is now taking me sheer personal determination to go that little bit extra each time. If only I could afford a personal trainer!
