Training Day 1 - 17.10.09

Well here my journey begins. I have only told 3 people about my goal.. My Husband, My Best Friend and My Mum. That way I am not under so much outside pressure to suceed and can go through this at my own pase.

I have found a 9 week training program designed to get a person into running, and I have to do 3 training sessions per week to begin with.

This week, after my warm up, I have to run for 1 minute, then walk for 1.5 minutes and repeat this 8 times. I have decided to do this on a slight incline on the treadmil to help build up strength in my legs.

I completed Day 1 today and it wasn't as hard as thought it would be, although the sweat was pouring off me and when i got back to my car, i realised i looked like a tomato :-/
